SWG talks Environmental Impact at TWM 07

Facilities management software specialist Service Works Global has confirmed that its involvement at this year’s Facilities Show will focus on the integration of Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) with other technologies and on the changing role of software, particularly in the way it is increasingly delivered as an online service rather than as a full, licensed application. There will also be an opportunity for visitors to discuss how these emerging and linked technologies can help them to meet their own environmental policies and objectives and also learn more about how changes in the way software is delivered will affect the FM market.

Typically software providers have focussed on the features of products at the expense of how they are actually used,” comments Service Works Global’s managing director Gary Watkins. “Our approach this year will be to look at how those features are applied in practice, how CAFM can integrate with other systems and to explain the benefits that can be enjoyed by organisations that see such products as strategic facilities management tools. In addition we will also look at how the global move towards delivering software online as a service will affect the market for FM software. Both issues are not only topical but are two of the most important contemporary opportunities for facilities managers.

Exhibiting on stand E44 at the show, which takes place at London Olympia on 10th and 11th October, Service Works Global will be demonstrating the full scope of modern applications.
