I began my career training as an accountant with price waterhouse in London, but quickly found myself drawn towards software and systems work. Initially, I focused on finance systems, but eventually transitioned to working with much broader ERP systems. In recent years, I have led teams specialised in implementing and supporting both service management and professional services systems. Throughout my career, I have held positions on both Microsoft and Oracle product councils for Dynamics GP and NetSuite, where I was heavily involved in shaping the product roadmap for these offerings. I have worked as an independent consultant and held senior positions within various software businesses, including serving as a CEO for both UK and international companies.
After spending most of my career involved in the supply and implementation of complex enterprise systems, I joined SWG in 2014. At SWG, I am responsible for overseeing our groupwide IT, infrastructure, and cyber security, as well as managing the QFM Support team.Mike Risley
