Integration

Software integration of Service Works Global's FM products with other programs such as BIM, BMS and Health & Safety

Our facilities management software will increase productivity and ROI across your organization, through its powerful, analytical technology. It can be used as a standalone system, but is especially effective when integrated with other software applications. An integrated system can save time, increase financial control and transparency, better manage organizational compliance and produce more meaningful information. This will lead to an increased understanding as to how a business is performing, which when appropriately actioned, leads to greater efficiencies, service levels and profitability.

QFM integrates with most software programs, see a few examples below. For a comprehensive guide on software integration, request a complimentary copy of our new white paper: Integrating CMMS with Other Organizational Systems.

  • Accounting Software

Accounting software manages financial information, billing and invoicing, payroll, fixed assets, fund accounting, project accounting, reporting, tax and more, for all departments within an organization. However, as systems become more advanced and organizations more complex, best-of-breed solutions are increasingly being used to meet specialist requirements.

QFM can interface with many financial systems, to ensure that facilities and estates costs are fully accounted for. Bi-directional integration ensures that relevant financial outputs are relayed back to QFM, to support effective FM reporting and aid budgetary control.

  • Building Information Modelling (BIM)

Building Information Modelling in facilities management Canada

In many countries, Building Information Modelling (BIM) is increasingly being adopted to ensure that project and asset information, documentation and data are available digitally to enable each part of the supply chain, from architects, though to construction, facilities and maintenance management companies, to share the same data. BIM allows organizations to derive cost savings, increased value and improved carbon performance in the longer term, through the use of open sharable asset information, which will result in optimum asset performance.

We have developed a COBie (Construction Operations Building Information Exchange) interface for our software, which can be used to import BIM data in order to optimize asset data collection and ensure that your business remains abreast of industry changes and best practice.

  • Building Management System (BMS)

    Open
Integrating BMS (Building Management Systems) with QFM IWMS software

Building Management System (BMS) can seamlessly link to QFM facilities management software. BMS can diagnose maintenance and service requirements and anticipate the condition of a piece of equipment or components based on its utilization and age. They can also predict impending equipment failure by monitoring asset data.

We have developed an interface between our products and leading BMS brands, combining best in breed technology with operational process, to allow you to reduce the impact of your business activities on the environment. Through seamless links into QFM software, jobs can be automatically raised and contractors or in-house operatives notified when an alarm is raised via the BMS. This allows you to make considerable cost savings by ensuring that preventative maintenance is only performed when necessary.

Bi-directional links between BMS solutions and QFM Room Bookings ensure lighting, heating and air conditioning are activated only when required, to deliver cost savings and improve energy efficiency.

  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Solutions

    Open
    QFM integration with ERP software

Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software is used to manage a broad array of core business processes (including customer, supplier, inventory and personnel information) and related financial transactions.

ERP solutions can be seamlessly interfaced with QFM facilities management software, thereby avoiding the need to re-key core customer and supplier data. Workflows, schedules and calendars which are established within the ERP system can be linked to QFM, to ensure that maintenance activities are conducted within pre-defined operational procedures.

  • Health & Safety

    Open
Centralize risk management and ensure regulatory compliance by integrating with QFM facilities management software

In addition to the comprehensive Health and Safety management capabilities inherent within QFM, we are also able to integrate our software with external health and safety registers, to centralize risk management and ensure regulatory compliance.

Data from specialist health and safety databases and applications, such as COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) can be imported into QFM, which in turn identifies hazards within planned and preventative maintenance tasks and allows appropriate action to be taken. Fully auditable accident reporting and investigation reporting ensure compliance with regional or industry-specific health and safety legislation.

We have integrated QFM with many third-party occupational health and safety registers. Should you have a specialist requirement that you wish to discuss, please contact us.
