Supporting technology in facilities management

Today’s ongoing digital transformation is changing everything we do and as a result the FM discipline is undergoing major changes. The FMA (Facilities Management Association of Australia) is hosting a one-day National Summit in Sydney on 16th February for FMs to discuss and embrace new technology practices such as BIM (Building Information Modelling), mobile, IoT (Internet of Things) and CMMS software.

As experts in this field, Service Works Global is sponsoring the Digital Technologies sessions, looking at the technological developments in facility management over the last 12 months, and what the future will bring. Following extensive and ongoing industry research and FM insight, such as the recent ‘Top Ten Tech Trends for FM’ article, Service Works’ General Manager, Samantha Fuller, has been  invited to join the panel discussion with other industry leaders such as Spotless and Aconex to discuss the impact of this change both now and over the next five years.

If you haven’t already booked your ticket, there is limited availability on the FMA website: https://www.fma.com.au/digital-transformation-fm-sydney-16-february-2017

If you are unable to attend, but would like more information on how technology can transform facility management in your organisation, contact us for a demonstration of our market-leading CMMS (computerised maintenance management system), QFM, or view our library of white papers.
