Service Works Global and Kettering General Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are proud to be announced as finalists in the 2024 PFM Awards’ Partners in Healthcare Settings category.
The Awards, now into their 31st year, celebrate exceptional facilities management partnerships that are crucial to the successful operation of any building or site.
Following a tender process in 2015, SWG started working with NHS Kettering to use QFM CAFM and space management software across its aging estate. The partnership has led to a digital transformation of the services delivered by the Trust’s estates and facilities team, including maintenance, housekeeping, medical devices, porterage and sterile services.
NHS Kettering recently expanded upon the relationship and begun the process of digitising their estate by laser scanning several smaller buildings across their estate, using the integrated BIM facilities within QFM to manage their building data and drive efficiencies across the portfolio.
SWG’s General Manager, Nigel Robinson, adds: “The creation of a digital twin positions NHS Kettering as a technology leader within NHS England and an example of best practice for other NHS trusts to use BIM. ”
The winners will be announced at the PFM Awards ceremony on 6th November 2024.
