A recent webinar hosted by CAFM software provider Service Works Group in association with Facilities Show, highlighted what facilities managers and others working in the industry consider as the key challenges set to have a major impact on the future of the FM industry in 2016 and beyond. See below for an easy-to-read infographic of the findings, and an insight into the FM trends for 2016.

Technology featured strongly as an area for concentration, with the majority (27 per cent) identifying it as the important challenge facing facilities management professionals in 2016. Further questions revealed CAFM (Computer Aided Facilities Management) software as a necessity for meeting operational standards, with respondents using this technology for reporting, measurement of service delivery and communication.
