SWG ISO certifications

Service Works Global is celebrating renewing ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 27001 (information security management) certification through the British Assessment Bureau, as well as its Microsoft Gold Partner status.

SWG’s CEO Gary Watkins comments: “These certifications are extremely important to our business. Not only do they demonstrate a company ethos of continuous improvement, teamworking and adherence to high standards, they prove to our clients and partners that we can deliver exceptional software and services, alongside robust security controls at a time when cyber threats remain at the forefront of business concerns.”

Recognised worldwide, ISO 27001 is the gold standard certificate in information security. Organisations awarded with it meet essential criteria in the key areas of data confidentiality and integrity, and availability of systems and data.

The ISO 9001 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

The process for certification is rigorous and demanding, thoroughly investigating quality and security measures across all areas of the company.

SWG has also renewed its Microsoft Gold Partnership status for another year. Gold competency is awarded by Microsoft only to an elite group of organisations able to prove the highest level of competence and expertise in delivering best-in-class Microsoft solutions.

Watkins says, “We’re thrilled that the commitment and talents from all our global employees has been recognised, but we will continue to review and adapt our processes to meet the evolving needs of our clients in the FM, PPP, space and BIM arenas.”
