PPP contract for medical equipment supported by P3rform Software by SWG

Service Works Group (SWG) has been awarded a new contract to provide software to manage maintenance of medical equipment under a Canadian PPP (public-private partnership) contract. Its software, P3rform, is being implemented to ensure that medical equipment is effectively maintained to specific standards during the required hours required at two selected hospitals, which will enable the hospitals to optimise patient throughput and improve service levels.

P3rform Software will support an availability framework for a wide range of medical equipment, including ventilators, x-ray machines, and CT scanners. The monitored framework will allow the service provider to be paid based on the availability of medical equipment, who will also incur deductions for equipment downtime. The effective maintenance of the equipment also supports compliance, improved health and safety and adds value through asset lifecycle management.

P3rform’s user-friendly dashboard will give the service provider complete visibility of maintenance and equipment availability, enabling them to prioritise resources based on real-time, accurate information, and forewarning of any potential performance failure. This will allow remedial action to be taken before deductions are incurred; resulting in a quality assured service.

“The aim is to ensure that the medical equipment is maintained to a high standard and readily available,” says Gary Watkins, CEO for the Service Works Group of companies. “We are delighted to be able to support our partner in providing a first-class service, enabling hospital staff to focus on patient care.” With several hundred PPP contracts across the globe, P3rform software helps stakeholders to manage the challenges in a complex contractual environment.
