5 reasons to implement CMMS software

Excitech, an Addnode Group company and the UK leader in technology and services for the construction and manufacturing sectors, today announced it will be transferring its CAFM (computer aided facilities management) business unit to Service Works Global, an Addnode company and international provider of facilities, property, and workplace management software. The transfer will take place on 1st July 2020, and provide clients with a comprehensive and enhanced product and service portfolio across the whole building lifecycle, backed by a combined 60+ years of best-practice software and FM experience.

David Hughes, Managing Director of Excitech comments: “Excitech’s acquisition by Addnode Group in January 2020 has provided us with significant resources and opportunity to deliver enhanced solutions and services to our clients. We share complementary skills, capabilities, and technology with Service Works Global, so the transfer of Excitech’s CAFM business unit to SWG will enable the delivery of an even stronger facilities and property management technology offering to existing and new clients.”

Service Works Global (SWG) is a leading international provider of facilities, property, and workplace management software with offices in the UK, Sweden, Canada, Australia, and the Middle East providing products and services across the entire building lifecycle. SWG has already successfully integrated Symetri FM, another Addnode CAFM business unit, into the SWG group adding significant expertise in building information modelling (BIM) and digitisation services. The integration of Excitech’s CAFM business will further strengthen SWG’s global FM capability.

“This transfer means SWG and Excitech’s CAFM clients will benefit from an even stronger, broader product and service offering, to further extend our technology capability in an evolving facilities management landscape. We’re pleased to welcome Excitech’s experienced CAFM team to the SWG organisation”, adds Service Works Global CEO, Gary Watkins.
