The digital twin journey webinar | Service Works Global

Join Service Works Global, the IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management) and Microsoft on Wednesday 2 November for an hour’s webinar addressing the practical considerations of digital twins, and providing guidance for those looking to unlock the benefits.

When: Wednesday 2 November, 12 – 1pm (GMT)
Where: Register here for free

This webinar is the second of three in The Digital Twin Journey series, hosted by the IWFM Technology Special Interest Group, discussing urban-transforming potential of ecosystems, and how the FM profession can best contribute to realising it.

SWG’s Chief Technology Officer Paul McCarthy, who has 28 years’ experience of delivering large scale and complex enterprise systems and specialises in CMMS, building lifecycle management, IoT, smart buildings and BIM, will join the handpicked experts to outline how to get started on the digital twin journey.

The panel (Quam Adewale, Industry Strategy Lead for the Built Environment at Microsoft; Peter Brogan, Head of Research and Insight at the IWFM; Mike Packham, Chartered Facilities Management Surveyor at BWA; and Derek Lawrence, owner of Twindl, formerly of Arup), will address technological considerations and FM operational change implications. They will provide insight on how to embark on generating a digital twin, practical advice on building information models and leveraging reality capture technology to move towards data-driven operations.

Catch up on the first in the series here (Establishing a Single Source of the Truth) and register for the second in the series via the IWFM here.

If you’d like to know more about digital twins, data-driven FM and CAFM integration before this time, please contact SWG here.
