IWMS release - linear asset management

Service Works Global (SWG) has announced the release of pioneering new software functionality to improve the reliability, safety and cost of infrastructure networks.

QFM Linear Asset Management has been developed by the leading software house in response to growing demand for management of complex assets. The application oversees the maintenance of thousands of kilometres of linear assets such as roads, railways, pipelines or streetlighting using advanced geospatial technology combined with QFM’s integrated workplace management system (IWMS) at its core. Together, these systems allow the user a visual overview of the entire network and unrivalled control of assets, providing a real time view of their surroundings as well as the status of maintenance in progress.

Samantha Fuller, General Manager of SWG and judge at the 2017 PPP Awards comments: “This new functionality will be an essential tool for public-private partnership contracts in particular. Performance criteria linked to the unique PPP contractual parameters can be assigned to individual assets based on their location or characteristics, and live performance monitoring of maintenance work flags potentially costly deductions before penalties are incurred.”

SWG provides market leading IWMS software, QFM, for unparalleled control and monitoring of facilities, assets and resources, and delivers a rapid return on investment. This comprehensive yet easy-to use-suite of tools delivers essential insight and critical performance information across an entire building, estate or portfolio. Extensive reporting capabilities translate complex data into usable, insightful information to support strategic decision-making.
