SWG celebrates ISO status

Despite a challenging year for so many, Service Works Global (SWG) has again achieved ISO certification for exceptional information security (ISO 27001) and quality management (ISO 9001).

Recognized worldwide, ISO 27001 is the gold standard certificate in IT security. Organizations awarded with it meet essential criteria in the key areas of data confidentiality and integrity, and availability of systems and data.

The ISO 9001 standard is based on a number of quality management principles including a strong customer focus, the motivation of top management, the process approach and continual improvement.

“While COVID-19 forced us all to work remotely at short notice, we’ve been able to rely on well-defined and embedded processes to continue providing uninterrupted, high quality service to our clients,” comments Gary Watkins, CEO of SWG. “We work hard developing our software, services and processes to meet the evolving and complex needs of facility managers.”

Cyberattacks increased threefold during the pandemic according to the FBI, and security continues to be a high priority for SWG. ISO 27001 proves that organizations across the world can be confident that by using QFM software, the confidentiality and integrity of their data will be maintained.

“FM has never been so reliant on data and as an IWMS vendor, we continue to invest in ensuring that our software is comprehensively protected. Our ISO accreditation is testament to this,” adds Watkins.

SWG was audited in August 2021 by the British Assessment Bureau, a UKAS accredited organization. UKAS is considered to be the ‘gold standard’ in the certification of ISO standards, and is the sole Government-appointed body. Many Government-related and larger organizations insist upon UKAS accreditation for their suppliers and SWG is pleased to be able to demonstrate this.

SWG also celebrates the renewal of its Microsoft Gold Certified Partner accreditation, recognizing its ability to deliver best-in-class solutions and its expertise with Microsoft enterprise technologies.
