Today leading IWMS and P3 O&M (operation and maintenance) software provider Service Works Global (SWG) announces merger with the FM division of its Scandinavian sister company, Symetri. This move sees the company going from strength to strength to offer a superior IWMS system to manage the whole project lifecycle, including a comprehensive BIM solution.

Extending the SWG brand, the FM division of Symetri will operate under the new name of Service Works Global Nordic.

After joining Addnode Group in 2017, SWG joined Symetri, one of the Nordic region’s leading providers of software and services for design and construction. Under Addnode Group’s ownership and serving the same rapidly expanding market, the merger will allow a broader offering underpinned by additional resource, delivering an increased value proposition. SWG’s market leading IWMS (QFM) and P3 O&M software (P3rform) will benefit from a full BIM offering including 3D modelling, laser scanning and full IWMS integration for maximum efficiency and ROI.

Through the companies’ pooled resources from across the globe, clients can expect an even stronger, broader product and service offering, delivering increased flexibility and functionality to meet the challenges of an evolving technological facilities management landscape. CEO Gary Watkins comments: “The merger puts SWG in its strongest position yet in exceeding the demands of the FM and P3 (public-private partnership) market at a national and international level. Together our combined knowledge and resources will form a strategic part of our next phase of global expansion.”

The extension of the SWG business means that clients can access a broader product and services offering on a more flexible and tailored basis, ensuring that clients continue to secure maximum value from their software in order to underpin operational efficiency using the necessary tools for strategic and informed FM decision making to support and grow their business.
