Graduate .NET Developers

Responsible for working with as part of a team to develop scalable, high-quality and high-performance enterprise web applications on the Microsoft technology stack. Other responsibilities include:

  • Building new systems with .NET 4.0 / ASP.NET / VB.NET / SQL Server 2008 / WCF Web Services / WCF Data Services
  • Developing new functionality on existing software products
  • Developing large scale systems
  • Optimising the user experience through UI / UX
  • Working with User Centric Workflow systems
  • Interfacing with 3rd party systems
  • Creating and supporting systems that support extensive factory and client side configuration

Experience in some of the following areas will be required:

  • .NET development experience, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, accessibility
  • ASP.NET/VB.NET
  • SQL Server 2000/2005, TSQL,
  • C#, ASP.NET WebForms, jQuery, Telerik, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Windows Workflow, Crystal Reports

Graduate Software Testers

  • Responsible for writing manual test scripts to test products developed in-house, the selected candidates will be:
  • Logically testing software and re-testing issues to recreate and pin point defects and to be able to, explain and document the issue in detail to enable developers to create fixes
  • Carrying out bug monitoring and control – creating, updating and closing defects
  • Responsible for maintaining own test environment
  • Producing test reports detailing results
  • Liaising and clearly communicating with other team members, the development team and other internal stakeholders
  • It is important to have a creatively destructive mindset and a methodical and thorough approach to testing.

Graduate Support Executives

Selected candidates will be responsible for providing expert 1st and 2nd Line Technical Support to external clients and internal staff for the organisation’s .NET and SQL based applications, developed in-house. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and client-based telephone skills are essential in order to deliver an excellent client experience for users of the support desk. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Investigating, managing and resolving support cases in line with defined escalation procedures and Service Level Agreements
  • Installing applications remotely and/or providing support to clients who choose to install these products themselves
  • Internal bug reporting/change request escalations, liaising with Development and Sales teams to ensure satisfactory responses are given to the client
  • Understanding of client systems and requirements
  • Participating in system and process improvement initiatives

Experience in some of the following will be required:

  • Windows Server 2003, 2008 & 2012
  • SQL server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012
  • SQL scripting / Crystal Reports
  • Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10
  • Active Directory 2003 and 2008
  • DHCP and DNS servers
  • Microsoft Exchange 2003, 2010
  • A good understanding of communication protocols, network devices, hubs/switches/ router diagnostics and configuration
  • IIS 6,7.5
  • VPN (site to site and client VPN) – OPENVPN, Cisco
  • Watchguard firewalls
  • Software security suits – preferably F-Secure
  • Web traffic filtering appliances
  • Virtual servers and clients using VMware and VirtualBox
  • Knowledge of back-up solutions
