Key skills required:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Facilities Management, Property and
    BIM technology
  • Knowledge of the different processes of a BIM project as well as the
    different actors’ needs for requirements and information.
  • Proven sales track record in securing contracts and meeting /
    exceeding revenue and profitability targets
  • Understanding of the PFI (Private Finance Initiative) / PPP (PublicPrivate Partnership) sector would be advantageous
  • A skilled communicator (both written and verbal) with the ability to
    influence key stakeholders
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation and client-facing skills
  • You have good technical knowledge in IT and information
    management, used to solve problems and have the ability to see
    opportunities in the needs of our clients.
  • You have few years of experience with BIM and consultative sales.
  • You enjoy working with people, are responsive to our clients and are
    driven by finding quality solutions to their challenges.
  • You are keen to take on an increased responsibility as our company
    grows.

An initial training period will include:

  • General company induction
  • Product training to a sales presentation and support standard (self-learning will also be required in order to be able to demonstrate the software)
  • Facilities Management overview (if required)
  • Training on ERP System (NetSuite)
  • Internal systems training

General Responsibility:

As the BIM consultant, your mission is to work closely with our clients, from design and construction to operations & management and offer a consultative sales approach. Within the identified clients to own the commercial relationships to maximise product / company penetration and achieve revenue/profitability and growth in line with sales targets across the UK market and help streamline the information processes throughout the life cycle of a building. You will work with system introductions, development of methods and processes and educate our clients in the new
generation methods to use all building information in an optimal way.

  • Developing client relationships and implementing strategies to
    optimise client retention
  • Developing and implementing creative strategies to enter new
    markets
  • Planning, forecasting, budgeting and providing comprehensive
    monthly reporting to the senior management team
  • Securing sales and expanding client relationships within the BIM
    (Building Information Modelling), BLM (Building Lifecyle
    Management) and digital building technology market
